Intro to Ancient Greek: Video Course

Taught by Daphne Schisgall

Daphne Schisgall is a junior at Saint Ann's School in Brooklyn, New York. She has been taking Ancient Greek for four years and Latin for one. She is interested in linguistics and rhetoric and how classics play an important role in both of these. Daphne has also been an active member of her school's Model UN club and takes French as well.

This six lesson course will guide learners through the Ancient Greek Alphabet, and introduce verbs, nouns, articles, and some vocab along the way. By the end of this course you will be able to read Ancient Greek words, and have the knowledge to translate some adapted sentences of Philosophers such as Socrates and Plato!
